In the Jointbah studio, theoretical design draws upon knowledge gained from over 15 years of hands-on building and carpentry experience. We bring a rare balance of creativity and practicality to each project. We design predominantly with natural materials, that reference the local context and place of each project. Priority is placed upon quality, health and durability. Labour, and real-world costs are closely considered to achieve efficiency with budgetary parameters.

We work closely with other builders and trades. Building culture through trade connections and networks are important to us. We draw upon the knowledge and skills of experts in their respective fields. This allows jobs run smoother and faster.

Life flows with the seasons — from cooling breezes and warm afternoons to bright lit blue skies. Our design approach embraces the unique ways of living specific to each site. In our South East Queensland location, connection to the outdoors is crucial. Spaces that capture the light, connect seamlessly to the environment are inevitably exposed to the elements. We ensure that the transitions and junctions to these critical spaces are built to endure.
